This one comes to you via colleague Jane Berliss-Vincent, a wondrous lady deeply engaged in assistive technology, although this particular find it more of a web accessibility tool. One of the oldest tips in web accessibility, right up there with descriptive text for images, is a "Skip To" link early on in the web page code to skip screenreader users over the navigation menus direct to the most important content. It never ceases to amaze me how many web sites still fail to include a skip to link (or ALT text for images!).
This SkipTo widget is from the folks at Paypal, who are surprisingly open with a lot of their code, and a very active and rich Github site. 99 code repositories? 99?! Wow.
