Lilly Oncology On Canvas:

With the whole FDASM thing going on right now ( ),
I’ve been looking for examples of how pharmaceutical companies are
using social media already. I am finding it easier to find examples of
how social media is being used badly than it is to find examples of it
used well. This is one example of a drug company using social media

The Lilly Oncology On Canvas campaign is using the usual social media
venues (Facebook, Twitter, etc) to create awareness of a condition,
promote sensitivity to the issues involves, tell stories and bring the
stories to life, crowdsource a project, and create community. This
project doesn’t do all of this equally, and they don’t use all the
social media resources equally effectively, but it is still a really
nice example.
